We recently ran an internal competition to see which of our stores could raise the most money for their chosen charities, and here are the results:
FACTORY STORES: 1st Place was shared by our Birmingham and Bluewater Stores:
- Bluewater held a KK fete for Ellenor Lions Hospice and raised over £1,100 pounds on a great day in their store with all the team in fancy dress as superheros!
- Birmingham attended the BRMB midlands music festival and sold Original Glazed doughnuts to the value of £900 and got to meet Chico, Diversity and others.
FRESH SHOPS: 1st place went to London Bridge, Holborn, Liverpool St, Bromley and Selfridges Oxford Street who grouped together to take part in a night hike across London in aid of Maggies cancer charity. They also had collection boxes in store and raised over £400 for Great Ormond Street children’s hospital.

In total across our stores, we raised over £5,500 for the charities and would like to thank all our staff for their participation and hard work.
