Shane Yusuf, Retail Team Leader, Lakeside

My name is Shane and I am currently the team leader at Lakeside Shopping Centre. I have been working for Krispy Kreme for over one year now. The reason I enjoy my job so much is the excitement that follows the Krispy Kreme brand, and this helps to make everyday different and enjoyable.

Francesco Caldorane, Production Team Leader, Enfield

My name is Francesco Caldorane and I have been a Krispy Kreme production team-leader for quite a while now… gosh its been almost 3 years! Time flies when you are having fun. I work in our Enfield branch and I am proud to be part of such a successful team in the biggest Krispy Kreme store in the UK.

I started in October 2003 in the first UK store which is inside the world famous “Harrods” and I was very excited to give the British public their 1st taste of our fantastic doughnuts. Those early days were tough… there was no handbook to follow, in fact we were writing the handbook as we went!! The day to day challenges kept everyone on their toes and you never knew what the next day would bring.

3 years later and the operation is smoother and we are all more experienced yet, in some ways, the challenges are even greater.

I love what I do, I love our brand, but most of all, I love being part of the Krispy Kreme world wide family and making amazing doughnuts.

I joined Krispy Kreme Shannons Corner when it opened as a production specialist. For the first time in my career so far I was doing something different. I was nervous in the beginning, but the quality of training I received was fabulous and there was no stopping me. I got the first employee of the month, and was also nominated for the employee of the year. I became a team leader after few months, and on top of that I have graduated from all the departments. Nowadays I am running both production and retail. With Krispy Kreme the sky is the limit…
